Why GovCMS
GovCMS is the whole-of-government content management and hosting service. It is designed around government standards, so an agency is not starting its security and compliance case from a blank page.
On GovCMS SaaS the platform team handles hosting, monitoring and the heavy lifting. On PaaS you get more freedom for a custom build, provided someone has the skills to look after it. We help you choose, and we can be that someone.
GovCMS runs on Drupal, which is open source and maintained by a large international community. Your site is not tied to one vendor's roadmap, and there are plenty of people who can work on it.
Agencies on GovCMS share the same foundation, training and community. A pattern that works for one agency can be reused by the next, rather than built again from scratch.
