Yours to run, with or without us.

Most lock-in is not written into a contract. It builds up quietly: a custom framework nobody else knows, a hosting account in the supplier's name, a plug-in with its own licence, a design file only one person can open. By the time you want to change supplier, the cost of leaving has become the reason to stay.

We try to leave nothing like that behind. Wherever we can, we build in your tenant and your accounts, on mainstream platforms such as SharePoint, GovCMS and Storyblok that other teams and suppliers already know. Where we bring our own tooling, it comes without strings: ShareHub, our SharePoint toolkit, has no licence fee and runs in your own tenant.

The code is a deliverable, not a by-product. Each build cycle in our framework, HASTE, delivers working source code in a repository, with documentation, a test suite and a log of the decisions and changes made along the way. When a release goes live, the handover documentation has to be complete before the cycle is closed.

Your team learns to run it as we go. Training was part of our intranet work for the AFP and DITRDCA, and of our program with Treasury Wine Estates. At Geoscience Australia, part of the work was a human-centred design playbook, so the agency could keep designing services itself.

Owning it also means knowing why it is the way it is. Wayfinder, our own discovery and planning platform, links each feature to the users, evidence and decisions behind it, so the next team does not have to guess. And if you would rather we kept running it, we do that too: we still run the AFP intranet as a managed service. That is a choice you make, not one made for you.
